Art Doll Assemblage, Altered China Doll Head, Vintage Chocolate Tin, Antique Fabrics and Trims, Dog, Whimsical Creation~ MAVIS
Here is Mavis ! She was created with a china doll head and a vintage Mavis Chocolate tin . The fabrics I used were from another old doll with added lace and ribbon trims. Her fun hat is a delicate porcelain antique cup with part of a tea ball on top.
She has a chain that holds a little ceramic pail that has her doggy inside ! On the back I added a lid from another candy tin for added embellishment.
Mavis rocks when touched because of the tin can shape, it adds to the fun !
I create my assemblages from a myriad assortments of parts that seek out at flea markets, estate sales and every place in between . I use and repurpose all found bits and pieces and try to only use glue from the store ! Enjoy !
