MAD DOG SCIENTIST~ Steampunk, Weird Science, Found Object And Doll Assemblage, Creepy But Whimsical
This came together because of a wooden base with a mechanical wheel attached .I think it was from an Erector set ? Anyway it was sitting in my workspace for a LONG time . Yesterday I grabbed it and just started grabbing odd parts in my junk stash..and here is what I came up with . Its a little steampunk , a little creepy for some but still whimsical !
The elements are :
a big old lightbulb?, bisque doll head, ceramic dog with Hat, watch Face, dominos, part of a ruler, wire from a clock ,toy Wrench, Chain, Key, spool, tea Ball, tv Tube, miniature bottle with ball chain Inside, a lock and a wooden caster ....may have missed a few things .10 " tall and 9 " wude .Signed and dated .
I popped a witch picture into one photo to show that it could hold a photo !
I create my assemblages from a myriad assortments of parts that seek out at flea markets, estate sales and every place in between . I use and repurpose all found bits and pieces and try to only use glue from the store ! Enjoy !
