ROAD TRIP was created with a vintage kids travel game board I found at a flea market. The holes in the board reminded me of old time kids sewing cards that you would "sew" with yarn so I threaded cord to sew two pieces together and to accent throughout.
The dolls head is a vintage painted cloth one with pretty blue eyes that compliments the board colors perfectly.I used illustrations from children's books,plastic toy cars and trucks,game pieces and other bits and bobs to complete.This is a cheerful and nostalgic one of a kind creation with memories of childhood.
