THE STORY OF TED
I repurposed a small wagon that I found at a flea market By removing the front wheels it allows it to stand upright. I found a sweet old tin teddy that was missing his ears so I created new ears from leather.Game pieces,biscuit tin top, children's book pages,shaker,bear figurines and toy bits were added to create the whimsical feeling of this one of a kind assemblage.

I create all my assemblages and mixed media art from bits and pieces I lovingly find at flea markets and estate sales. I love being able to repurpose broken pieces of the past into whimsical new art.
My favorite era is the Victorian times from children's books,toys,clothing to
ephemera.But sometimes I stray into steampunk and more colorful vintage styles of assemblages.I just hope whatever I create makes someone smile!
