Anthropomorphic kitty cat !
A broken vintage ceramic cat figurine was used with a vintage plastic doll body. She sits atop a vintage nutmeg tin. She is a quirky curiosity that will a fun piece to display.
I create all my assemblages and mixed media art from bits and pieces I lovingly find at flea markets and estate sales. I love being able to repurpose broken pieces of the past into whimsical new art.
My favorite era id the Victorian times from children's books,toys,clothing to ephemera.But sometimes I stray into steampunk and more colorful vintage styles of assemblages.I just hope whatever I create makes someone smile!
